If you set up your device for the first time after June 23, 2020, your eSIM activates after setup. Contact your carrier if eSIM is not activated.
For devices set up before this date, follow instructions on this link to activate eSIM. The procedure may require erasing your device data – make sure to backup beforehand.

*Only iPad devices with Wi-Fi + Cellular capability are supported (except devices purchased in mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao).
